RSD2020

Update - ERA have cancelled the rescheduled RSD in June and replaced it with three RSD "Drops".

As our first ever Record Store Day (RSD) was approaching, we were pulling out all the stops to make it one to remember. In light of the current situation, the organisers of RSD (ERA) have sensibly decided to change this year’s event. Sadly, the rescheduled 20^th June event has now been cancelled, but excitingly, we will now be having three RSD “Drops” instead:

Saturday 29^th August 2020
Saturday 26^th September 2020
Saturday 24^th October 2020

Wax and Beans will be partaking in these fantastic "drops" on the new dates. We invite you to continue to provide us with your want lists, by dropping us a message on social media on through the contact us page here on the website.

The new, updated RSD2020 list will be released on 1^st June 2020 and will contain the release dates, allowing you plenty of time to plan ahead for which RSD Drop you'll need to attend to get your records.

Whilst a little unsual, this new “Drop” style will cruicially allow stores to be socially responsible and safe, whilst still providing support to stores, artists, labels distributors etc.

One big change, is that online rules have now also changed, so if for any reason you can’t make it to your local store, you can grab your goodies online from 18:00 on the relevant RSD “Drop” dates.

For now… that’s all the info we have, as and when further updates are released, we’ll let you know, but it’s certainly going to be one (or should we say three) to remember!
