Yung Bae’s beloved “Bae” album series can be described as the result of a time traveler going vinyl shopping and making music with a crate-full from across various decades and genres.
Weaving curated samples from classics and transforming them into 3-minute ballads, Bae pays homage to disco, funk, city pop, jazz, and more. On 6AE, Yung Bae draws on influence from his usual well source and more contemporary dance music and rap; working with the likes of Life on Planets, Ric Wilson, Vantage, Imad Royal, Huron John, and Danny Quest.
