It was compiled by Laurence Cane-Honeysett, who also wrote the linernotes. This double album, focusses on the Beverley's catalogue and includes some of the finest and most popular Jamaican recordings from a fascinating period during which rock steady became established as the island’s national sound. The 28 tracks here provide ample evidence of the superior quality of Beverley’s output from this time.
