This album showcases the Stone Roses’ electrifying concert at the Kan-i Hoken Hall, in Tokyo, Japan, on 24 October 1989, during the band’s The Stone Roses Tour. The year 1989 was quite the ride for the Stone Roses. They released their eponymous debut album on 2 May. The album was a breakthrough success for the band, receiving widespread critical acclaim. Soon after, the Stone Roses were the hottest band in the world, touring the album that nailed the Madchester zeitgeist head on.
Featured here, are eleven incredible tracks, bookended by the classics I Wanna Be Adored and a closing 13-minute rendition of I Am the Resurrection. Also included, are fan favourites such as Made of Stone, Standing Here, She Bangs the Drums and more.
