The Georgia Thunderbolts hail from Rome, GA, at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains. Their style is steeped in Southern Rock and Blues Rock. On 'Can We Get A Witness', their debut album for Mascot Records, the quintet - J. Lyle (vocals, harp, piano), Riley Couzzourt (guitar), Logan Tolbert (guitar), Zach Everett (bass, keys) and Bristol Perry (drums) - invoke a tried and true spirit with newly fanned fire.
Describing themselves as hardworking, determined and humble, the 13 songs on 'Can We Get A Witness' were recorded with producer Richard Young at Barrick Recording Studio in Glasgow, Kentucky. Even the opener 'Take It Slow', wrapped in a seething groove with pulsating drums, whiskey-soaked riffs and ferocious harmonica playing, struts out of the gate into the world with confidence and charisma.
