It is now available as a stunning double coloured vinyl, housed in a gatefold jacket with original artwork by Shan Jiang. 

The album features music written by Mothersbaugh and Hokoyama for the latest instalment in the PlayStation® video game franchise.  The 20-track collection combines synth-heavy electronic production with cinematic orchestrations to create the perfect soundscape for Ratchet and Clank’s intergalactic adventures.   

Mark Mothersbaugh is a GRAMMY® and Emmy®-nominated composer, producer, designer and visual artist whose work has become part of the pop-culture consciousness. His credits include a range of projects from Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, The Life Aquatic, The Lego Movie, Tiger King, In and Of Itself and Thor: Ragnarok. He’s had particular success with animation on the Hotel Transylvania franchise, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Willoughbys and The Croods: A New Age.

Wataru Hokoyama is a multi-award-winning Asian composer based in LA. He has worked on Resident Evil 5, Afrika, Kinnect Disneyland Adventure, Halo-20th Anniversary, Knack and many more.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a 2021 third-person shooter platform game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5. It is the sixteenth instalment in the Ratchet & Clank series, with the game serving as a follow up to both 2013's Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus and 2016's Ratchet & Clank remake. When an evil robotic emperor intent on conquering cross-dimensional worlds puts Ratchet and Clank’s own dimension next in his sights, the old duo is thrust right back into action. The dynamic pair need to dust off their outrageous weaponry and stop a dimensional collapse in its tracks.
