Long overdue, Swagger is being re-issued on Limited Edition Green vinyl and a Deluxe Double CD. Fresh from the success of 2024’s Hombres, which reached the UK top 10 album chart and went to Number 1 in Scotland, Gun continue their comeback with this revitalised edition of Swagger. Originally released in 1994 and long out of print on vinyl, the album featured the hit single ‘Word Up’, a cover of Cameo’s pop song that they transformed into their own tongue-in-cheek hard rock banger which charted all over Europe and went to the top 10 in the UK.
This Limited Edition Green Vinyl version features renewed and replicated cover art, and contains a 4 page insert with brand new liner notes written by Joel McIver featuring an interview with Dante (vocals) and Giuliani ‘Jools’ Gizzi (guitar), plus archive photos from the original singles. The third album of a long lasting career, Swagger represents the band at just one of their many high points. Gun are constantly ready to reinvent themselves and their approach to making music, always thriving under pressure, and always ready to release new material with as much swagger as ever.
