At the center of the record is a conceptual idea from Ian Gillan: “SPLAT!” deals with the end of humanity, or perhaps Deep Purple, not in any crude apocalyptic sense but as a metamorphosis beyond physical existence.

With this new album, the band continues an impressive streak of consecutive chart- topping releases and brings that momentum to audiences worldwide with the “SPLAT! World Tour”, featuring more than 80 shows across the globe in 2026.
