Inspired by Paul Gallico’s novella, the album is a fully instrumental concept work, structured as a continuous suite of tightly arranged compositions that showcase theband’s precision and musicality. From intricate acoustic passages to dynamic electric guitar leads and layered keyboard textures, the record demonstrates exceptional control of tone, arrangement, and pacing. Andrew Latimer’s fluid, melodic guitar work is complemented by expansive synthesiser and organ parts, creating a rich, immersive soundstage throughout.
